I have a big 30 plate chiller I got from Grain and Grape.

No chill has huge benefits in terms of time, efficiency, water usage etc, but for me it is never the optimum solution where taste and hop character are concerned. Having said that, for moderate late hopping it's definitely possible to come very close to optimum with no-chill.sean_0https://www.blogger.com/profile/17981350759177891027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3892225609766361155.post-89989415917687041832013-11-20T11:14:58.992+11:002013-11-20T11:14:58.992+11:00Hi Sean.

Or have you a chiller now?
Cheers,
A fellow-Cork brewer in the Antipodes.KJHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03057615285497311867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3892225609766361155.post-91003927272747139532013-08-30T10:35:23.932+10:002013-08-30T10:35:23.932+10:00It's not a bad beer, though really it's en...It's not a bad beer, though really it's ended up a bit too lager-like for my tastes. It's clean tasting and easy to drink, but not remarkable in any way. I might do a write up on it soon. I'm not sure exactly why, but our fire alarm would go off at least once every two weeks. That meant about 45 mins of everybody hanging around outside before we got the all clear to go back in. After a while a few of us decided the Thirsty was a better place to sit out the delay. Happy days.sean_0https://www.blogger.com/profile/17981350759177891027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3892225609766361155.post-91286366234711269002012-10-06T03:37:14.684+10:002012-10-06T03:37:14.684+10:00I like that, premium stout. Been ages since I've had a real one on tap... used to spend the hours between class at the Thirsty Scholar, near UCC. Nice pub.
